Application Manager - Order Management Solutions


Job Description:

Drive solution and application innovation, improvements, and overall management of the different commponents for B2B (EDI, WOM, Middleware).

Roles, Responsibilities and Experience

An B2B Application Manager is a combination of a Solution and Application Manager. Owns solution e2e from solution design (incl. business process analysis), over development (Application Management role) to solution adoption (increase # of users).

At Least 2 years dealing with:

This role will not have a close match in industry but we are looking for:

  • Business to business applications (EDI, WOM, PI, PO, Hana Cloud Integration)

  • Application Management activities in other linked areas.


Qualifications & Knowledge

Proficient or interested in being proficient in Application Management.

This role will own Regionally NA/LA and potentially globally solutions in the business to business space such as EDI orders, EDI invoices, Hana Cloud Integration, Web Order Management, and emerging B2G solutions.

Basic Service Management - This role will own a series of services to enable B2B operations. Negotiation of funding, definition of priorities, and strategies will be a big part of this role.

Vendor Governance, majority of these solutions will flow through Vendor Added Networks (VANs), and will require interaction with our partners. This requires a high level of management and governance of third parties, service levels, contract negotiation, and conflict resolution.

Basic skills in Infrastructure as an enabler for innovation, solution and application design.

Strong communication skills with ability to work across organizations and functions - This role will interact with several areas withinP&G. These resources will be multi-functional including technical and non-technical.
