IT Application Manager - Financial Solutions - UK


This is an experienced Hire Requisition for an IT Application Manger into our Financial Solutions organisation.

P&G is embarking on a large scale transformation of its Financial transactional and reporting solutions set. We require an experienced IT Application manager to help deliver on this journey. IT Managers at P&G drive the Application design and delivery of IT solutions across many domains. This role is within our Financial Services and Solutions Global Business Services, the individual would lead the application lifecycle for their domain.



·Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science or other IT disciplines

·Multiple year experience in IT management

·Work experience in SAP-FI

·Work experience in Vertex O-Series 7.0

·Application Design & Implementation experience (SAP or non-SAP - application lifecycle mgt)

·IT operations set-up - Support requirements and setting up Support Model

·Run IT operations - Problem, Change, Incident Management experience

·Application Budget Management

·Basic understanding of Oracle/SQL DB

·Basic understanding of Linux

·Microsoft Productivity Solutions Knowledge

·Experience in other technologies - Cloud application , robotics , Web based technologies


·Basic IT Project Management Skills

·Basic knowledge on Enterprise Architecture


·Demonstrated success in effective leadership, problem solving and priority setting

·Strong English communication (presentation, written, and listening) skills

·Good collaboration skills and the ability to work within diverse organizations and teams

·Stewardship mind-set- ensure strong security controls for an Application (E2E architecture)
