Engineering- Project/Process Engineering Utilities Lead

Description

Procter & Gamble is seeking an Experienced Engineering Manager for a challenging and rewarding Engineering career at the new Tabler Station manufacturing site in West Virginia.

Chemical/Process Engineering Managers at Procter & Gamble develop innovative solutions for making process, sustainability, process safety, and process automation which deliver superior and highly efficient production systems for Process and Utilities systems at manufacturing sites. Engineers in this field leverage process design, controls and building management systems backgrounds to enable efficient manufacturing productions systems.

Your work will require creativity, innovation, teamwork, and leadership. You will employ cutting edge technologies with multi-discipline, highly professional teams across the Company to enable collaborative work with R&D and Manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Be the Utilities/Project Engineering Leader for a capital project at the new Martinsburg, WV manufacturing site.
  • Responsible for process definition, design, installation, and start-up of all Utilities (including chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, boilers, purified water generation and distribution systems, wastewater treatment, HVAC, etc.).
  • Champion for Cost & Schedule - be solution driven & accountable through strong leadership.
  • Responsible Engineering Manager for Fabrication & Construction execution for assigned areas.
  • Lead Mechanical VATs (vendor acceptance tests) on Utilities provided equipment.
  • Deliver HVAC that supports a process & packing operation to meet temperature & particulate density in a FDA regulated facility.
  • Provide technical direction to vendors and engineering firms throughout all phases of the project (design through construction and startup).
  • Provide technical coaching and support to the Utilities manufacturing organization.

Initial 2-3 years of assignment in West Virginia, with opportunities to relocate after completion of assignment.



Qualifications
  • BS/MS Chemical Engineering degrees are preferred. Other BS/MS Environmental, Electrical & Mechanical degrees may be considered with relevant practical experience in process/utilities/facilities area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of chemical engineering work experience
  • Utilities, HVAC & Chemical Process experience
  • Hands-on experience in industrial process design & execution
  • Familiarity with Process Control is preferred
Some travel may be required for this position.

This role is part of the broader PS (Product Supply) Engineering function that is responsible for inventing, developing, and delivering breakthrough processes and/or packing technologies that provide winning products for consumers around the world. Dealing with a diverse portfolio of current and future products.
