The P&G Dayton Mixing Center is the largest customization and distribution operations in North America. This operation is responsible for delivering the company's customization and distribution strategy which spreads across all categories and all major customers.
The DYMC-MSO Site Engineer is part of the site’s leadership team responsible for changeovers system, production efficiency, automation, standard line layouts and cost estimation among others. Responsibilities will include development and/or reapplication of existing technologies and supply chains, utilization of zero/low cost capital solutions, and application of standard engineering work processes to deliver the products initiatives, cost savings and capacity increases from Project Establishment through equipment IQ/OQ/PQ.
The Site Engineer needs to have the ability to lead technical teams towards clear success criteria and deliverables often with accelerated schedule and medium risk. He/she should also be bias towards action and experience with cross functional leadership on a project, team, or capability area, demonstrating personal accountability for key business results.
The Site Engineer should also work in all phases of project work from discovery thru delivery/daily operation. Technical experience in packaging will be needed for this role.
The candidate must have highly effective collaboration skills and demonstrated capability in driving and influencing functional partners throughout P&G. Ability to effectively communicate technical work to multi-functional teams and various leadership teams is important.
The candidate should have demonstrated capability in managing a technology development program and project execution while juggling multiple and competing priorities, anticipating and positively responding to rapidly evolving direction. Experience with other businesses and exposure to multiple technologies is desirable.
The Procter & Gamble Dayton Mixing Center is located approximately 5 miles north of Dayton, OH at exit 61 off Interstate 75, near I-70 and Route 40. It sits just southwest of the Dayton International Airport. The plant will operate 24-hours a day, seven days a week on a variety of work schedules. Bachelor Degree in Engineering preferably in any of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical. Candidates must also have at least 3-5 years of experience in Site Engineering or similar type of work.
