Procter & Gamble’s R&D organization has an opening for a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist at our Mason, Ohio site to develop and improve high resolution mass spectrometry-based approaches for botanical characterization and quantitation. You will join a state-of-the-art laboratory where teamwork and individual initiative are highly valued. Current core mass spectrometry (MS) instrumentation on-site includes Thermo Orbitrap Elite, Orbitrap HF, Exactive and GC-Orbitrap high resolution MS systems, Agilent and Waters Q-ToF mass spectrometers, along with associated UHPLC and SFC chromatographic equipment.
o Develop and execute new methods for botanical characterization for safety assessment and support claims.
o Develop new data analysis/interpretation approaches and partner with Analytical colleagues.
o Partner effectively in multi-functional, multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., toxicologists and formulators) for R&D problem solving.
o Publish and present findings of the research.
