Elemental Analytical Scientist - Research & Development

Description
This Research and Development Division (R&D) is responsible for elemental composition of consumer products, raw materials, target soils, and packages to solve tough problems and drive innovation across businesses. As a member of the team, you will be focused on driving growth and long term competitive advantage through elemental analytical technology.

The Ideal Candidate
As a successful candidate, you will use the best available elemental analytical technology to deliver practical solutions to tough challenges across multiple business areas--including challenges resulting from new elemental-impurities regulations. Lead one or more aspects of capability development within the global analytical chemistry organization. Technology responsibilities include hands-on utilization of elemental analysis (EA) techniques, such as Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP)-Optical Emission Spectroscopy, ICP-Mass Spectrometry (MS), Laser-Ablation-ICP-MS, X-Ray Fluorescence, and elemental analysis wet chemistry sample preparation—including microwave digestions. You will apply deep mastery and strong communication skills to shape testing standards both inside the Company and externally through professional consortia.

Qualifications
We are looking for applicants who have a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Geology or like degree.
