Brand Management Sophomore Seminar - Student Program


As a participant in our Brand Management Sophomore Seminar you will have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be an Assistant Brand Manager at P&G- and interview for a 2019 summer internship!

The Sophomore Seminar will be held in P&G’s Global Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio from April 5th-7th. P&G will cover travel and lodging expenses for those selected.


A 2 day, action-packed learning experience that focuses on what it means to be in brand management at P&G, plus an optional “Cincinnati Immersion.” You’ll get the opportunity to meet brand leaders at P&G, understand what it means to be a business owner, and complete a hands-on brand-management case.


Working in brand management at P&G means being a total business owner- not just a marketer. You will have full responsibility for your profit & loss results. You will be the vision and strategy behind your brand- developing marketing plans and driving innovation. You will work with a large cross-functional team to identify consumer, shopper, and customer insights and execute marketing tactics that will continue to grow your brand profitably.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong passion and strength in consumer, customer, and market understanding and insights – Developing creative and innovative solutions that allow us to win in the marketplace.

The Brand Management function at P&G produces the majority of the company’s General Managers as well as future CEO’s. P&G Brand Management is about growing our Brands, Business, and People. You will help us remain on the cutting edge of marketing, helping us find new and exciting ways to reach consumers.

If you’re a good fit, you’ll:

· Be in your sophomore year of an undergraduate degree (preferably with some business focus)

· Excellent visionary, strategic and courageous leadership skills

· Experience with Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint

· Strong communication skills and team capabilities

· Strengths with strategic and analytical thinking

· Innovation for growth skills


Candidates must be in their sophomore year of an undergraduate program and in good academic standing.
